The 2012 Winter Meeting is to take place at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, California, February 22-25, 2012.

Thomas L. Campbell MD Thomas L. Campbell MD graduated from Harvard College, summa cum laude, and from Harvard Medical School. At the University of Rochester, he completed the Family Medicine residency, a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine (with George Engel, M.D.) and family therapy training in the Department of Psychiatry (with Lyman Wynne, M.D., Ph.D.). He has been on the faculty of the Department of Family Medicine since 1983 and was appointed Professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry in 1998. In 2004, he was appointed William G. Rocktaschel Professor and Chair of Family Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Campbell is nationally recognized for his work on the role of the family in medical practice and the influence of the family on health. His NIMH monograph, Family's Impact on Health, has been an influential review of the research in this area. He has co-authored two books: Families and Health with William Doherty, Ph.D. and Family-oriented Primary Care with Susan McDaniel, Ph.D. and David Seaburn, Ph.D. Since 1994, he has been coeditor, with Susan McDaniel Ph.D., of Families, Systems & Health: The Journal of Collaborative Family Healthcare
