Ardis Davis, MSW.   

Ms. Davis is a professional educator who has been involved in family medicine education for 27 years.  She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 1979 at which time she first began working in family medicine at the University of Washington  School of Medicine.  In 1985, she began working independently with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine managing federal contracts and continued that work for approximately 19 years.  During that time period (1991-2003), she held a voluntary clinical faculty appointment in the Department of Family Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.  In January 2004, she was appointed (part-time) to the faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington and in that capacity is currently working with the Family Medicine Residency Network across the five-state WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) region.  Ms. Davis has served as Executive Director of ADFM since October 2004.
